This weekend is Spectrum Fantastic Live 2 here in Kansas City. I'll have a couple of signings over the weekend where I'll be selling posters and my sketchbook, "Untold: Summer 2013".

Here's an Evil Dead page I drew a while back. It was lots of fun to do.

I drew a four-page story in Ghostface Killah's new comic Twelve Reasons to Die #1. It was released in conjunction with his new album of the same name. Here's the cover and Jimmy Fallon showing off the book on his show:

I drew a 22-page comic for Run For Your Lives, a 5k where zombies chase you. The book is available at all this season's events. Below are a couple of my favorite pages before color or lettering.

A while back I drew a story telling the origin of Mummy Bailiff for Ryan Browne's God Hates Astronauts: Completely Complete Edition. The Kickstarter to launch the book exceeded all expectations and the final hardcover looks great. I'll have a few copies for sale at cons this year.

I drew the variant sketch covers for Judge Dredd #2 from IDW. Retailers who ordered 50 or more copies get one of these limited variants.

Haunt #28 is available in comic stores today from Image Comics. I designed and drew pages 5 through 20. The first four are by Nathan Fox and the rest by Todd McFarlane. Nathan and I have been wanting to work together for a while and we're having fun doing so. Below are a few of the inked pages by me:

A bi-yearly Christmas tradition, Cashew Kerry is a grotesque effigy of my cashew-loving father. This year's incarnation speaks from a pre-recorded sound box and lurks in pile of cashews. At some point, I'll link to a video of Cashew Kerry speaking.

While looking through some old folders, I found a 2006 sketch of the Mothman design I used in Return to Point Pleasant. I thought it would be fun to do a new sketch of the same character. Both are posted below.

On the left is a digital sketch used for the Officer Downe pinup I posted earlier. On the right are the finished inks. When working on a drawing, I usually print a digital sketch, tighten it up with pencil, then add ink. Sometimes I scan the pencils, but I skipped that step here.
